Installation and activation are not the same
Installing adds the eSIM to your device. Activation begins when the plan connects according to its product and order guidance. Check your order details before your trip so you know when to install and connect.
When you are ready to connect
- Set the eSIM as your mobile-data line.
- Apply the data-roaming instruction shown in your order or on the product page.
- Allow a few moments for the device to find a supported network, then restart it if needed.
Keep your primary SIM from using mobile data if you want to avoid charges from your home carrier.
