Use the eSIM for travel data
Set your travel eSIM as the device's mobile-data line. Keep your primary SIM available for calls and messages only if you need it.
Roaming settings
Follow the roaming guidance in your order or on the product page. If a plan requires data roaming, turn it on for the eSIM line only. Keep data roaming off for your primary line unless your home carrier confirms that it is safe for you to use.

Start with automatic network selection. If you cannot connect, check your order for supported-network information before trying a manual network choice.
